I found it cool that Kanye reads similar blogs to what I read. I guess that means we're both pretty fuckin awesome. And if you're reading my blog then you're pretty fuckin awesome too. I guess.

PINK FRIDAYS PART 2

These people were on every street corner from North Texas Street, to Texas Street, all the way to West Texas Street. That's at least a good 5 mile stretch. There was a lot of support for them too, as evidenced by drivers honking loudly in approval.

PINK FRIDAYS PART 1

I was going to the park last Friday to meet up with some friends and play ball. On my way I see people all over N. Texas St. wearing pink and holding picket signs. Turns out these were all teachers, students, parents, and other supporters rallying against the school budget cuts happening in California. As a result of these budget cuts, teachers are being laid off by the dozens. Hence, 'pink slip fridays.' All over California this was going on, here's more information from NBC.

Went to eat with Ica the other day. From 3pm-7pm Chevy's has a Happy Hour (shouldn't it be Happy Hours?). Select drinks and appetizers are only $3. They've had this going on for about a year now but apparently I'm the last person on Earth to know. I just found out about it a couple weeks ago. The place was packed.

The Catcher in the Rye is one of the best books I've ever read. It's a literary classic, and usually people coincide that with boring. Totally opposite. A lot of inquisitive takes by J.D. Salinger that'll make you question your outlook on life. It's actually a banned book from elementary schools for references to prostitution. Good lookin.
